Welcome to Andhra Pradesh Bishop Council
Andhra Pradesh Bishop Council exists to serve the Country by promoting peace and communal harmony. It's primary focus is to develop leaders to serve the society at large with earnest dedication and a sincere commitment. It is a human rights network to promote communal harmony and understanding between the communities and to address the issues of various sections of society and in particular the issues of the minorities with a special focus on Christians. APBC collaborates with all like-minded organisations that are serving various communities and deal with the issues of Dalits, Tribals and other marginalized and suppressed communities.
Founded on principles of unity, justice, and compassion, the Andhra Pradesh Bishops Council seeks to build bridges between different faiths and denominations. We recognize that true progress can only be achieved when all members of society, regardless of their background, are treated with dignity and respect. Our council organizes workshops, seminars, and outreach programs to foster dialogue, provide legal assistance to the persecuted, and empower the youth to become effective agents of change.
Through our network across the 26 districts of Andhra Pradesh, APBC works tirelessly to ensure that the voices of the voiceless are heard in the corridors of power. By partnering with governmental bodies, civic organizations, and global human rights watchdogs, we aim to safeguard constitutional rights and pave the way for a more inclusive and equitable society.
